Data Collection

Server Log Files

The website automatically collects browser-transmitted information including browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, hostname, request timestamp, and IP address. This data is processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) to fulfill contractual obligations and ensure website security.

Account Data

When you create an account, the website collects information you provide including email address, name, messages you send and receive in the system, and your self-reported progress to provide the services. This data is processed under GDPR Article 6(1)(b) for contract fulfillment.

Payment Data

Payment processing is handled by Paddle, a third-party payment processor. Prompt Flower does not store credit card information. Please refer to the Paddle Privacy Policy for details on their data handling practices.

Live Recordings

Live recordings may be recorded and shared with students of the course. When you share your camera or screen, and when you speak or chat, you acknowledge you will be recorded, and give your consent to sharing of the video in and outside of the course. Recordings are uploaded to unlisted videos on Youtube. Selected parts of videos might also be published on Youtube. If you don’t want to appear on public videos, please let me know. I will make sure your privacy is preserved.

Third-Party Services

Hosting

This website is hosted on Hetzner Cloud infrastructure. Server logs may be retained for security and operational purposes. Please refer to the Hetzner Privacy Policy for details on their data handling practices.

Analytics

This website uses a self-hosted Umami instance on Hetzner Cloud for webanalytics to understand aggregate user behavior and improve our content and services. This data is anonymized and does not include personally identifiable information.

Email Communications

Prompt Flower uses Mailjet as email service provider to send transactional emails (account confirmations, course updates) and, with your consent, marketing communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Please refer to the Mailjet Privacy Policy for details on their data handling practices.

Cookies

Prompt Flower uses essential cookies required for the course platform to function (such as session cookies for logged-in users). Third-party tracking cookies are not used without your consent.

Data Retention

Your personal data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes.
